I am a club or youth league welfare officer how do I complete my DBS check?

All Club and Youth League Welfare Officers must have an 'Accepted' in date FA DBS check. To complete a FA DBS check, you can set up a new application yourself on Whole Game but please remember that you cannot verify your own DBS application. Verifying your own application will make it nul and void and you will then have to start the process over again. Once you have completed the application and submitted, if you contact Cambridgeshire FA, a staff member can verify your chosen documents for you. Once your application has been paid for (£10), your application will be processed. On the odd occassion, an application can take a little longer than usual. This is when it reaches Stage 4 within the application (Police Records). The Police can hold up an application for up to 60 days at this stage. Do not be alarmed over this, it can happen. Once you have received your FA DBS certificate, please do keep this safe and note the certificate number (on right hand side of your certififctae) and date of issue. Your DBS will be fully completed once it is showing as 'Accepted' on your FAN Number.

On the odd occassion, an individual will be contacted by Disclosures and asked to return their certificate. If you receive this request, please do not ignore. Return the certificate to them as soon as possible to

The Disclosures Office @ First Advantage, 1 Wilford Business Park, Ruddington Lane, Nottingham NG11 7EP

Failure to return your certificate could result you being issued with a non-compliance suspension.
